Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
We are looking for a Proposal Installation Survey Engineer to join our Headquarter based in Milan. The Proposal Installation Survey Engineer gives contribution both at the tender stage of Power Cable Systems projects and during project construction.
Improve alignment of costs and methodologies between tender and project stages
Support processes of pre-contract agreement for survey
Improve outcome of engineering deliverables
Engineering: Burial tools speed evaluation based on track records and/or numerical analysis
BAS
Assessment on suitable burial tools, Route engineering
Data analysis
Survey proposals
Improve knowledge of known Survey Companies and assistance in scouting for new Subcontractors
Critical analysis of received offers from survey subcontractors:
Qualifications
Costs
SOW alignment
Preparation and updates of future survey activities planning showing time, clashes, workload, etc.
Preparation of details survey specs for purchasing use up to the award of the subcontract
Managing and devolvement of engineering software’s: AutoCad, GIS Online, Makai, WOW software, etc.
You are the right fit if you have/are:
Fluent in English
A master’s degree in Engineering (preferable civil/environmental engineer) or other relevant technical disciplines (e.g. Geophysicist, Geology), with knowledge of soil behaviors.
Curious and eager to quickly learn and get involved to improve autonomy
Precise, proactive, problem solving and target oriented
Knowledge of GIS systems
Knowledge and familiarity with of all basic and common software like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and in the use of the Web.
Availability to short but possibly frequent trips, domestic and abroad
No experience or experience in same or similar role and area
Knowledge of / experience in geophysical or geotechnical data acquisition or processing
