You’ll make an impact by:
• Analyze and understand customer requirements from Tenders, RFPs, and RFIs to develop competitive and compliant proposals. • Lead and support negotiations with customers to ensure favorable terms and successful order closures. • Deliver persuasive technical and commercial presentations to customers, partners, and stakeholders. • Identify technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions tailored to project-based business requirements. • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and pricing models for proposed technical solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, legal, and finance) to formulate optimized customer offerings. • Ensure timely preparation and submission of high-quality proposals, quotations, and bids. • Standardize and continuously improve quotation templates and bidding documentation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Ensure that all proposals comply with Siemens (or equivalent corporate) processes, quality standards, and internal approval guidelines. • Prepare and document technical deviations, clarifications, and exceptions as part of bid responses. • Review and comment on customer technical specifications and related bid documentation. • Maintain compliance with internal quality assurance standards and external regulatory requirements. • Present business cases and bid strategies to management for review and approval. • Represent the organization in technical discussions and forums with customers and industry stakeholders. • Drive order acquisition through strategic pricing, customer engagement, and value-driven proposals. • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and bid targets.
You’ll win us over by:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering. • 4–5 years of experience in Bids, Proposal Management, or Sales within the Railway Signaling or Industrial Automation industry. • Strong understanding of tendering processes and technical/commercial bid preparation. • Proven ability in customer handling, negotiations, and order finalization. • Proficiency in preparing business cases, techno-commercial proposals, and cost estimations. • Exposure to Requirement Management Tools and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is an added advantage. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
