Proposal Engineer
**Job Summary :** Emerson Measurement Solutions is looking for an efficient and dynamic Proposal Engineer to manage the end-to-end quote-to-cash cycle for the spare parts business under the MSOL-LCS organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling spare parts RFQs, generating quotes, sourcing parts, and ensuring timely invoicing upon delivery. In addition, the role includes preparing and submitting field service , calibration and repair proposals. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Manage the Quote to Cash process for Metering system parts business in our Measurement Solutions organization. + Daily activities include RFQ technical evaluation, customer screening, CMR logging, quote preparation and submission, order entry, issuing purchase orders to best cost vendors, arranging material imports and consolidation in Dubai warehouse, coordinating with logistics for final shipment to customers, and invoicing on shipment delivery. + Meet or exceed quotes and orders service levels. + Ensure trade compliance and due diligence in collaboration with the Business Unit gatekeeper. + Process vendor payments on time in coordination with Accounts Receivables. + Update project financials based on cost reports provided by the finance department each period. + Prepare and submit field service proposals to customers. + Register new customers and vendors in the respective business systems. + Offer basic technical support to clients via phone and email. + Provide Backlog & Sales forecast reports to management. + Work closely with regional Sales/BDM’s to update status on issued quotes and provide orders funnel reports to management. + Support Service Coordinators and work closely with them. + Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by your manager. + Adhere strictly to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics Policy, with respect to all business activities. + Adhering to Emerson’s highest ethical standards is a must. **Who You Are:** + You're a proactive, diligent professional who takes initiative and adapts easily to change. + You collaborate well across teams and cultures, communicate clearly, and stay focused under pressure. + You understand customer needs and deliver timely, effective support in a dynamic environment. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Industrial). + Knowledge of Custody Transfer Metering System is a plus. + Familiarity with Emerson divisions and products. + Project management skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. + Outstanding communication and customer service skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle; experience in Power BI is a plus. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + 3-5 years of experience in Parts Management, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement, or Contract Management. + Prior experience in proposal generation and knowledge of Emerson products are preferred. **Our Culture & Commitment to You!** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
