**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Property Manager, you will lead the team responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational and financial performance of a commercial real estate portfolio totaling approximately 2 million square feet.
This role is part of the Property Management job function, which focuses on managing buildings and facilities on behalf of clients to ensure optimal functionality, tenant satisfaction and financial success. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.
**What You’ll Do:**
_Serve as the Primary Liaison for Client and Tenants_
Act as the main point of contact for client, ensuring their objectives are met.
Respond to escalated tenant needs and issues with professionalism and urgency.
Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and complete reports to stakeholders.
_Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams_
Provide formal supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
Monitor training and development to ensure staff growth and readiness.
Set clear goals, track progress, and mentor staff to achieve operational excellence.
_Drive Operational Excellence Across the Portfolio_
Coordinate and manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
Set and monitor departmental deadlines to ensure timely execution of responsibilities.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex operational issues.
_Deliver Financial and Strategic Oversight_
Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure timely payments.
_Ensure Compliance and Risk Preparedness_
Prepare legal notices for approval in accordance with lease terms and regulations.
Help develop and implement emergency recovery programs to safeguard property operations.

**What You’ll Need:**
_Education & Experience_
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 3–5 years of relevant property management experience.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
_Licensing_
California Real Estate License required or must be willing to obtain within a specified timeframe.
_Technical & Industry Knowledge_
Strong understanding of commercial lease structures and terms.
Experience in construction management or project management is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
_Leadership & Communication Skills_
Proven ability to lead teams, set performance expectations, and coach for success.
Skilled in managing sensitive, complex, and challenging communications with stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to influence team impact on quality, efficiency, and departmental effectiveness.
_Organizational & Analytical Skills_
Exceptional organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to identify and resolve moderately complex issues within existing systems and processes.

**California Residents:** CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Property Manager position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Property Manager position is $130,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
