Course: Property and Casualty Insurance

This course introduces students to homeowners, renters, and auto insurance. Students identify and measure direct and indirect property loss exposures and the insurance coverages used to transfer such exposures. Commercial liability and property protection coverages are also explored.

What You Will Do:

Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroomAdhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframesRespond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframesProvide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

Preferred: PhD/DBA Risk Management or Finance or Doctorate in another business discipline with Finance or Risk Management emphasis. Minimum: Masters in Business Administration or Masters in Risk Management or Finance with current AZ Property and Casualty Insurance license AND a minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk management.
