About the role:

We have an exciting fulltime Maternity Relief opportunity available for the next 12 + months for a Property Accounts Coordinator to come join our team in our Support Office in Rhodes, NSW.

Hybrid role - 3 x days in office and 2 x days WFH

The successful applicant is expected to drive outcomes and ensure that Bunnings is meeting its financial obligations of the property portfolio across Australian and New Zealand sites. This includes but not limited to reconciling rental statements received by landlords and outgoings that are due and payable by Bunnings on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis. Following accounting deadlines so that Lease commitments are met, payments are approved and processed.

What’s involved:

Management and reconciliation of Lease informationMaintaining internal record Keeping and databasesAssist with Rent rollStakeholder engagement both internally and externally (Stores, Landlords and Property Team)Review, reconcile and validate invoices through the Account Invoice Processing systemQuery, reconcile and submit invoices for approval and payment across AUNZReview and reconcile all statutory charges received from authorities across AU and NZ that will include by not limited to water, council and utility chargesGeneral Administration

Who we're looking for:

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, reliable, efficient and experience in accounting or finance administration tasks and able to manage multiple tasks.

Additionally, excelling in interpersonal communication, relationship building, and demonstrate a team culture, maintain a strong commitment to excellent internal and external client service to drive outcomes.

You’ll need:

Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills essentialExcellent written and oral communication skillsCustomer Service focusGreat multi-tasking, organisation, and time management skillsAbility to think analytically and use initiative and perform under pressureKnowledge of finance and accounting concepts highly regardedStrong organisational skills and attention to detailInvoice verification, and account reconciliation experience highly regardedProfessional telephone mannerHighly personable, punctual, and efficient
