Description We are looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in White Plains, New York. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing the financial operations of multiple properties and ensuring accurate reporting. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the financial success of the organization. Responsibilities: + Produce comprehensive tenant statements and ensure their accuracy. + Handle complete accounting processes for multiple properties from start to finish. + Support the calculation and recording of expense accruals. + Conduct bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of cash postings. + Maintain precise accounts by auditing and processing invoices. + Leverage Yardi software to efficiently manage property accounting activities. + Adhere to general ledger standards and uphold accounting principles. Requirements • Proven experience in property accounting, preferably within a similar role. • Proficiency in Yardi software for accounting and property management.
