Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Accountant to oversee financial activities related to property and project management. This role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end close processes. Responsibilities: • Manage property financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Perform month-end close procedures, including reconciliations and journal entries. • Process accrual accounting transactions to reflect accurate financial positioning. • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded. • Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making. • Collaborate with property management teams to address accounting-related inquiries. • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies. • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors. Requirements • Proven experience in property accounting or a related field. •• Strong understanding of month-end close processes and accrual accounting principles. • Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain general ledger accounts. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and address inquiries. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
