Job Summary:
A Real Estate Company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Property Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting of a portfolio of properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each property in accordance with GAAP.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Review and analyze property-level budgets and variances, working closely with property managers and asset management.

Assist with year-end audit requests and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

Ensure compliance with lease terms, property tax filings, insurance, and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1+ years of real estate experience
