A real estate investment firm is seeking a Property Accountant to join their growing accounting and finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in general ledger accounting, property financial reporting, and CAM reconciliations.

The Property Accountant will oversee a portfolio of commercial real estate properties and handle day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, variance analysis, and monthly reporting. You'll collaborate closely with the asset management and property operations teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting functions for a portfolio of commercial or multifamily propertiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPComplete month-end close tasks including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliationsPerform CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and tenant billingsAnalyze budget-to-actual variances and explain key fluctuationsSupport year-end audit requests and tax package preparationCollaborate cross-functionally with asset management and property operations teamsAssist in budgeting and forecasting processesEnsure accurate recording of capital expenditures, fixed assets, and depreciationWork within Yardi (or similar) property management/accounting software F1419814PHI-MKT_1749484583 To Apply for this Job Click Here
