Purpose:  Accountable for leading, guiding, and directing St. Joseph’s Properties functional responsibilities.  Provide functional expertise and ensure fulfillment of performance and service standards in alignment with organizational strategy.  Responsible for consistent operating performance and achieving financial goals.  Identifies, defines, and solves complex problems that impact the management and direction of the business.  Collaborate with leadership to ensure consistency and integration of strategy.  Maintain awareness of new industry developments and standards.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.  Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Accreditation/Licensure:  High school diploma requiredBachelor’s degree in related field preferredEquivalent combination of education and work experience will be consideredProfessional certification recommended within 18 months of hire (CHFM)

ExperienceMinimum of 7 years’ experience in the field with minimum 5 years’ experience in hospital maintenanceWorking knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards including but not limited to EPA, NFPA, OSHA, TJC, DNV, other national, state, and local regulatory requirementProgressive management experienceExperience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems 

Physical and Mental Requirements and Working ConditionsIndirect Healthcare Support Services (OSHA:  Healthcare support services that facilitate the provision of healthcare services)Frequent clinical/patient facing work environmentFrequent lifting of up to 30lbs unassistedFrequent sitting and use of computerMay require frequent long periods of continued walking, standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushingContinuous attention to maintain a safe working environment and use of available personal protective equipmentIncludes frequent work time indoors but may encounter occasional variable external environmental conditions

Pay Range: $58,240-81,952

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
