This is a non-exempt position where hours worked over 40 will be compensated at time and a half. As a Proofreader, you will be responsible for proofreading labeling components at various stages of development. This role is distinct from that of a Technical Writer or Editor.
ResponsibilitiesProofread and approve labeling change control documentation and associated specifications.Review labeling for consistency and accuracy.Communicate and coordinate labeling changes with cross-functional groups.Rearrange priorities on short notice to meet customer needs.Ensure labeling and documentation for new products or revisions are completed accurately and on time.Maintain quality of product through accurate documentation linked to labeling changes.Ensure documentation meets Quality Regulatory and GMP requirements.
Essential SkillsProficiency in English language and grammar.Ability to proofread documents for extended periods.Minimum of one to two years of experience in proofreading documentation.Problem-solving and project management skills.Ability to influence internal and external groups and provide leadership.Knowledge of proofreading style guides.Strong organizational and human relations skills.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with a change control system is beneficial.Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.Strong communication skills and commitment to collective success.
Work Environment
This position is based onsite in Temecula. The interview process will be conducted in person. The role requires adherence to quality standards and GMP requirements.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
