Description Robert Half is seeking a Proofreader for a local client in Oklahoma City. This is a 100% onsite position with a Monday–Friday schedule. The role starts at $19/hour with potential for a raise and bonus upon full-time conversion after a 90-day temp-to-hire period. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and has a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and formatting. Key Responsibilities: + Review and proofread reports and documents for grammar, punctuation, consistency, and formatting + Ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to internal writing standards + Communicate with internal teams to clarify content and resolve discrepancies + Edit and revise written materials while maintaining the original intent and tone + Meet deadlines while managing multiple assignments efficiently Requirements Required Skills & Experience: + Minimum of 2 years’ experience in proofreading, editing, or content review + Excellent command of English language, grammar, and writing mechanics + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat + Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or errors + Comfortable using digital tools such as Google Earth and GIS (helpful but not required) + Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently + Effective team player with strong communication skills + Flexible schedule to accommodate deadline-driven projects Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent required + Background in publishing, communications, technical writing, or related field preferred Additional Requirements: + Ability to read, write, and comprehend English fluently + Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills + Visual acuity sufficient to read printed and digital materials for extended periods TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
