Promotion Data Product Manager, Europe

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our product strategy and roadmap for the RGM data product. You will work closely with business stakeholders, other product owners, engineering teams, and data and business analysts to define, build, and deliver data products that drive business value. This role requires a strong understanding of RGM promotional systems for Consumer Goods, data modeling, and cloud technologies and a passion for data as a product. **How you will contribute** **Product Strategy & Roadmap:** + Define, maintain, and collaborate with Business Product Owners for the ‘Promo Data Product’ vision and strategy. + Identify and prioritize opportunities to leverage RGM and promotional data to improve business outcomes. + Connect Global priorities and global product teams with regional and business unit needs. + Coach Business Units and stakeholders on the data as a product philosophy. + Conduct research and competitive analysis to inform product development and strategic decisions. **Requirements Gathering & Definition:** + Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to understand their needs and translate them into detailed product requirements. + Document requirements in the form of user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. + Prioritize and manage the product backlog. + Understand and translate business requirements into technical and architectural decisions. **Data Expertise & System Understanding:** + Develop a deep understanding of our promotional systems and the data they generate. + Apply data modeling principles to design and optimize data structures for analysis and reporting. + Ensure data quality and consistency across all promotional data products. **Data as a Product:** + Treat data as a product, focusing on usability, accessibility, and value creation. + Help define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products. + Promote data literacy and adoption throughout the organization. **Cloud Technologies:** + Work with engineering teams to design and implement data solutions on cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform). + Ensure data security and compliance in the cloud environment. **Agile Development & Execution:** + Participate in agile development sprints, providing guidance and support to the engineering team. + Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed. + Ensure timely delivery of high-quality data products. **Collaboration & Communication:** + Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders at all levels. + Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and data scientists. + Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and successful execution. **What you will bring** + **3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in the data space** . + Solid understanding of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) for Consumer Goods. Knowledge of how Promotional systems and data work within a CPG company (or similar industry). + Solid understanding of data as a product principle and practice. + Solid understanding of handling multiple data sources together such as external (Nielsen, Customer Data) and internal data (SAP, TPM) in Consumer Goods + Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and cloud data warehousing solutions. + Well-versed in data modeling techniques and database concepts as well as SQL. + Experience working with promotional KPI's such as baseline, uplift, ROI, etc. **What extra ingredients you will bring:** + Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). + Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). + Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks. + Certifications in cloud or agile technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Google Cloud, Certified Scrum Product Owner). + Finops Knowledge. **Personal Attributes:** + **Self-starter with a high sense of ownership and accountability.** + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + **Adaptable and able to thrive in a complex and frequently changing environment.
