We are hiring immediately for Projects - Finance Analyst role that will help us to power progress for our customers

Position Overview
Acting as the main link between the Finance function and the business; Providing proactive business, functional and external (market, competitor, customer) insight based on in-depth business knowledge and solving key business problems.

Your key responsibilities:

Understand business requirements (including reporting) and the change impacts on wider Finance, acting as the intermediary between the two and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.Engage with other streams within Finance (Order to Cash, Record to Report and Source to Pay) to gain a clear understanding of the financial process and alignment through the Global Process Owners network.Responsible for creating and leading the partnership between the business and the wider Finance function.Budgeting management for all Projects IPP, Solutions and UGMCMonthly cost reviews with Projects Operations versus forecast and budgetForecasting input to Tagetik for all Projects monthly costs.Support Finance Business Partner Projects with project P&L completion and review to support National Sales TeamSupport modelling creation for the TC Underground Mine Cooling (UGMC) and Power for projects over $1m in collaboration with the business and the Finance Business Partner ProjectsRegular use and expertise in M3, MDP, Power BI and Tagetik.

 

Professional skills / experience

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics is a mustCPA, CA Qualifications are desirableMinimum 5 year financial or management accounting experience preferably in the Energy SectorM3 or similar ERP system experience is desirable.Attention to detail.Proactive and self-driven.Good people interaction skills.Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet timelines.Advanced Microsoft Applications skills, particularly Excel
