We have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding our teams in Farlough. We currently have a new opportunity for a Projects & Aftersales Director.

What you’ll do

The role of Projects & Aftermarkets Director is to provide first class delivery, service and support of all projects to both our global dealer and end-user networks. This role will plan, organise and direct all projects, pulling together all elements to ensure a smooth transition from order to dispatch, especially when non-standard orders are placed. This role is critical in ensuring full internal inter-department alignment, as well as on-site targets are met. The role interfaces with and acts as the link between all functions including the Sales and Engineering teams, external suppliers, order processing, production, shipping and our dealer/ end-user networks.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Responsibility for development, planning and control of projects (on MS Project) in conjunction with operations, customer, procurement, shipping and technical teamsEnsure all Health and Safety procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and in the creation of project risk analysisEnsure that all projects are consistently delivered in line with the project scope and agreed plans, whilst ensuring effective communication and that relationships between the customer and project management team members are maintainedResponsibility for TWS product factory scheduling & process adherenceRegular review and reporting to the management team on the project status.Attendance & participation at S&OP, Clear To Build, Bi-weekly production and AER meetingsResponsible for delivering project plans, packing lists, and H&S plans, as well as wrap-up/ lessons learnt analysis on each projectManage project procurement & spend in line with budgets for each projectPrimary Customer contact for all aspects of the project, up to dispatch of machinesDeliver continuous product improvement in project delivery & engineering through after project reviews and critical analysis.Chairing of weekly project review meetings ensuring that all stakeholders/ disciplines attend; are enabled to take an active role and there are effective cross-functional relationships.Work with other departments in resource allocation for site installations, plant commissioning and troubleshooting.Referral and follow up of fault information to various departments such as Engineering and Quality departments where appropriate to prevent problem reoccurrence and improve machine reliability.Assisting the sales team with technical sales including application validation in conjunction with the TWS Applications team.Responsibility for all TWS Technical Helpdesk and Warranty System matters.Researching and responding to customer enquiries on parts & warranty, complete ownership of all customer communication after point of sale.Investigate and resolve customer problems in a timely manner.Provide detailed application and technical training to dealers and customers.Cooperate with product group engineers to develop performance and test criteria for new products and product upgrades.

What you’ll bring

Degree Educated and/or equivalent experience in a service or plant project management environment.Demonstratable leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internally and externally.Proven track record in people management.Proven Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlinesStrong Commercial awareness

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent leadership and management skills.Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.Self- motivated individualSomeone who cultivates a team spirit.Good technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.Significant travel will be requiredStrong project management and analytical skills
