Job Title: Experienced Project Supervisor

Join our dynamic Calgary team as a Experienced Plant Supervisor, where you will oversee and support the completion of the revitalization of a brownfield plant. You will be instrumental in navigating various contracted teams, multiple ongoing projects and become the main point of contact for upper management- sitting out of province. This role requires full rounded experience, understanding all areas of plant operations to best guide the team in the right direction as projects are ongoing and complex.

Responsibilities

Lead daily AM meetings and provide end-of-day reports.Manage contractors and subcontractors effectively on brownfield projects.Obtain project quotes, ensuring three quote thresholds for approval on any expenditure over $2500.Test and commission newly installed machines to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications.Coordinate all plant functions, including contractors, engineers, and construction teams.Utilize Autodesk Viewer and MS software, such as MS Project, for project management.

Essential Skills

10+ years of experience managing contractors and subcontractors on brownfield projects.6+ years of experience obtaining project quotes.Experience in testing and commissioning newly installed machines.Proficiency in coordinating plant functions across various teams.Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Detailed knowledge of piping, pressure vessels, and machinery on brownfield projects.Familiarity with ASME B31.3 and/or API standards.Experience in construction management, project management, and project coordination.

Work Environment

On-site plant in Calgary. This is a long-term contract position lasting two years with a strong likelihood of extension. Travel may be required. Irregular working hours may occur

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
