We are looking for an Project Specialist, Customer Support. This position will be based at the Hingham, MA location with the opportunity to work a few days a week remotely.

As an Project Specialist with the world’s most respected manufacturer of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, your role is essential in driving customer happiness from order acceptance through receipt of payment. You will work to ensure that orders are completed with excellence and that customer experience is nothing short of stellar.

You’ll make a difference by: Performing order management mainly through SAP reports for assigned customers, from order acceptance to invoice. Effectively communicating expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion. Managing client information in SAP and other information systems. Supporting customers remotely, providing first-level user support in case of arising issues. When required, maintaining the relationship with clients and sales representatives to clarify orders and issues. Supervising order turning points and results to ensure successful and timely delivery of orders based on agreed upon contract terms Coordinating the resolution of customer requests and questions with respectively qualified Field Service Engineers or Project Engineers. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent experience or state-recognized GED required 3+ years of experience in a client-facing commercial customer support role Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with opposing deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Focused experience in MS Excel and organizational skills in MS Outlook. Basic working knowledge of SAP Customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, including de-escalation techniques Ability to influence without authority Critical thinking and ownership in bringing successful resolution to cross-functional problems Proven organizational skills including attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills Experience of working in complex/matrix organizations with multiple responsibilities Ability to travel 10% Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering Knowledge of the energy/critical power industry Experience in project management or order management Basic Tableau experience

The pay range for this position is 53,760 - 92,160 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
