Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Hardware Program Manager to oversee our Lab Build processes across multiple development teams and locations. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware procurement, assembly, and operations for our test laboratories, supporting both software and hardware development initiatives. The Hardware Program Manager will be instrumental in developing and implementing new mechanisms to enhance lab efficiency and scalability. Responsibilities: * Manage procurement processes for lab hardware and equipment, working closely with vendors and internal procurement teams * Implement and maintain robust material tracking and inventory management systems across multiple lab locations * Oversee test lab assembly, ensuring efficient and timely setup to meet both hardware and software development needs * Support ongoing lab operations and maintenance, proactively identifying and resolving issues * Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet lab build requirements and align with project timelines * Optimize processes for cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency * Develop and implement new mechanisms to improve lab operations, including automation and standardization of processes * Create and maintain comprehensive reporting systems to track lab utilization, costs, and performance metrics * Present regular status updates and performance reports to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders * Collaborate with software and hardware development teams to understand and anticipate future lab requirements * Manage and allocate lab resources effectively across multiple projects and teams * Develop and maintain documentation for lab processes, procedures, and best practices * Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab capabilities and support evolving technological needs
