Job Description

The primary function of the Project/Program Manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in fields such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out. This role involves managing projects outside of IT, ensuring that goals are accomplished through the integration of technical activities.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate projects by making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.Recruit employees, assign tasks, direct and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.Analyze technology resource needs and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.Essential SkillsProject management and program management skills.PMP or PMI certification preferred.Business management skills.Proficiency in MS Project and Visio.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.2-4 years of experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Interpersonal skills.Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.Basic knowledge of computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
