At ZF Wind Power, we are a global leader in technology-driven manufacturing of on- and offshore wind turbine gearboxes and powertrains and a global service partner. We lead the high-performance onshore market segments with our SHIFT compact modular platform designs. We delivered the world’s first offshore 9.5 MW wind turbine gearbox and, in close cooperation with our partner, delivered the first next generation 15 MW offshore powertrain.

What you can look forward to as Project Process Engineer:
Act as a core team member in the NPI team and interface to the PE organization Identify where global production standards for assembly can be applied and identifies gaps where new process standards need to be developed Align with the respective process engineers (Global experts and plant responsibles) throughout the product development process to identify the correct process flow, routings, PFMEA, capability Drive the co-engineering process together with the Design Engineers to come to a Design for Assembly solution to secure the assembly process in serial production Challenge and monitor the assembly community, and is technical sparring partner for the process engineers Execute the prototype building together with the Prototyping team as well as support the local plant on-site during the ramp-up for serial production and give advice about lessons learned during the prototyping phase Drive efficiency by using standards and transparent communication tools and advises the management team on competence management / training requirements and global resource planning for the different PE Teams
