**Your Impact:** Amentum is currently seeking a **Project Manager** to join our team supporting our customer in the National Capital Region. You’ll be a part of a team that helps shapes the strategic future for our clients and define the strategy to get them there. This position requires an active DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility that has been adjudicated in the last 5 years or in designated CE status and the ability to obtain and maintain special accesses. **Responsibilities:** + Use problem solving skills and experience to analyze, evaluate, and recommend solutions to meet current and future capability requirements. + Lead complex projects from requirements development through design and acquisition, culminating in stakeholder operational test and acceptance. + Apply technical expertise to make recommendations and support integration of fixes, modifications, enhancements, new systems, and new capabilities into existing operational architecture. + Develop system requirements, model use cases, produce conceptual designs, develop integration strategies, and design systems architectures. + Participate as expert advisor to customer in various planning working groups, review meetings and technical exchanges with vendors and mission partners. + Ensure developmental systems are interoperable with current and future design requirements. + Provides technical review and input to plans and CONOPS. + Develops and presents technical papers and presentations to convey project status, objectives, and strategic milestones to senior officials; identify and quantify risks that would affect the quality, timeliness, and cost of project services and deliverables; recommend risk avoidance and mitigation plans. + Support the formulation and execution of acquisition strategies. + Advise the customer on the development of technical approaches to solving integration and interoperability related problems. + Author well researched quality document packages, coordinate and track correspondence, formulate Courses of Action (COA’s) and draft recommendations for customer and senior decision makers that will may have broad organizational impact. + Participate in activities to ensure knowledge creation/sharing and integration within and across the work program as appropriate. **Requirements:** + BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Project Management, or related discipline with a minimum of (15) years of relevant work experience or 20+ years of progressive relevant work experience gained in related industry, federal or military career field. + 10 years’ programmatic, policy or operational experience with DoD communications-electronic systems and voice, video, and data networks. + Active DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility that has been adjudicated in the last 5 years or in designated CE status and the ability to obtain and maintain special accesses. + Position requires advanced writing and speaking/presentation skills, exceptional organizational and prioritization skills. **Clearance Required:** + TS/SCI **Minimum Education:** + Bachelors in Science **Minimum Years of Experience:** + 10 Years **Preferred:** + MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Project Management, or related discipline + Experience gained in a joint staff officer or action officer role + 20+ years’ programmatic, policy or operational experience with DoD + DoD System Acquisition or PPBE experience + DAWIA certifications + Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification \#javelin
