Your new role
As our PAT Project Manager, you will join a department established 1½ years ago. You will play a pivotal role in leading the scouting, development, and validation activities for PAT methods for a diverse range of oral products. Your mission is to drive the PAT agenda forward and shape the future of drug product development projects with innovative strategies.
In this role, you will collaborate across departments within the oral area in CMC, playing a key part in coordinating the development of PAT strategy, PAT methods and regulatory documentation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Collaborative Leadership: Foster strong partnerships with stakeholders (Scientists, Specialists, Project Managers etc) across various departments, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and resolution of scientific challenges with a creative flair Inspiring Team Management: Lead your PAT project team with engagement and motivation, empowering them to excel in their roles Strategic Alignment: Bring together the project organisation’s needs with those of the business lines to create cohesive and successful outcomes Regulatory Coordination: Be the go-to person in navigating work related to regulatory applications, ensuring any inquiries from authorities are managed with precisionSince the oral pipeline is in growth and constant development, willingness to adapt to changes and new priorities are key to your success. Your skills & qualifications
You’ll be an invaluable addition to our team by having a proven experience in managing and executing projects, particularly those involving analytical activities. Furthermore, you have:
A master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or a closely related field 3-5 years of hands-on experience from pharmaceutical or related industry Scientific expertise in analytical development and/or validation Exceptional stakeholder management skills that make communication seamless Full professional proficiency in EnglishExperience with regulatory submissions? We are open to enthusiastic profiles with more limited Project Management experience but have relevant pharmaceutical or analytical experience and an eagerness to accelerate in the role.

As part of Novo Nordisk's CMC & Product Supply organisation, CMC Product & Process Development transforms drug candidates into life-changing treatments. We advance molecules from research to market by developing commercial manufacturing processes and producing high-quality products for clinical trials and preparing necessary scientific documentation for regulatory submissions.
The CMC Oral Product Development (OPDev) area focuses on advancing the oral platform portfolio, including the development, documentation, and packaging of tablet drug products for clinical trials. The CMC OPDev PAT department consists of about 40 dedicated colleagues organised into three teams, each overseeing specific responsibilities while collaborating to develop and integrate new PAT applications into our oral drug product manufacturing processes.
