Malin is looking for a Project Manager to work within our Systems Department and assume responsibility for large conveyor and material handling system projects. Software Program: Project, Project Online, and Synergis Adept ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Organize the entire project from order placement by customer through the installation and implementation phase: Schedule sub-contractors, work with material-handling equipment manufacturers and freight companies. * On occasion solicit and receive bids from designated vendors; on occasion select vendors based on company criteria. * Establish and manage relationships with customers and suppliers. * Obtain customer approval for project plans * Should be proficient with project management software ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Interact with sales personnel, engineers and customers as required to ensure necessary coordination and good communications. * Process approved project change orders. * Make periodic site visits to review project progress and report to management as necessary. Ability to effectively present information to customers, top management and peers.
