Acting as the central point of contact between Business and IT, this role ensures the design, harmonization, and deployment of core business processes aligned with strategic objectives. The role leads global deployment planning, execution, and value realization, ensuring effective adoption and measurable business benefits across markets and functions. The objective of the rOar platform is to provide to Publicis Agencies the functionalities needed to manage their projects from an operational and financial standpoint. It currently covers the following scope of processes, subject to evolution depending on the Groupe strategy: Project creation Projects pricing and approval Workplan creation and Resource Management Management of intercompany agreements Timesheets and Absences Project operational and financial follow-up Management reporting, dashboards and KPIs rOar is a key enabler for the Groupe strategy “Power of One”: one vision of the availability and usage of resources across agencies, inter-agency staffing, global reporting. It is tightly integrated in the Publicis ecosystem (SAP, Salesforce, HR, etc.). It is essential to ensure that these integrations are seamless from a business standpoint, and that rOar remains flexible and adaptable in the future to be able to adapt to changes of IT ecosystem in the Groupe. Responsibilities Process Ownership & Functional Leadership from an IT standpoint Working in collaboration with business process owners, design and own from an IT perspective the global target processes supported by the rOar platform. Ensure business requirements are captured, prioritized, and translated into functional solutions. Working in collaboration with business process owners, lead process harmonization and alignment across regions and business units from an IT perspective. Collaborate with IT Product/Platform Owners to ensure functional integrity and scalability. Deployment & Change Execution Lead deployment strategy and roadmap for the rOar platform across all regions. Coordinate market readiness activities, including gap analyses, localization reviews, and readiness assessments. Support the design and execution of change management plans and user training strategies. Drive deployment excellence through repeatable playbooks and proven delivery methodologies. Support Business during the deployment process: The role involves the responsibility of 10 to 20 Business support professionals to enable that activity. With his team under his responsibility, will take charge of the following responsibilities: Build and maintain the standard rOar training and process adoption documentation. Manage the rollout at the agency or country level with the business representatives (ex: USMS). Upstream deployment preparation activities (ex: demos, early readiness checks) and Process adoption workshops. Based on the outcome of the Process adoption workshops, ensure localization of the global rOar V2 solution (operational, organizational, legal adaptations). For this the Deployment team will document Business requirement and functional documents then handed over to the core rOar V2 solution team for the build delivery. Leading data migration for local objects and provide support to business activities (review and enrich data, reconcile data). Indeed, this activity needs understanding of the local context for each deployment. The rOar V2 solution team will remain in charge of providing the data migration central tooling. Lead business tests for localized scenarios, especially business-driven end-to-end scenarios (in complement with IT-driven functional tests). Lead training and change management execution and follow-up on the actual value-realization for business. Stakeholder Engagement & Governance Act as a primary interface between Business, IT, and Agencies for rOar process and deployment topics. Lead governance forums for process and deployment decisions. Leads the high-level platform/product backlog of functionalities from business standpoint. Align closely with regional/local business leaders to ensure adoption and ownership. Value Realization & Continuous Improvement Define KPIs and value realization frameworks aligned with rOar program objectives. In coordination with the lead for the run/maintenance of rOar in production, monitor performance post-deployment and identify areas for improvement. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence enabled by the rOar platform. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field. 10+ years of experience in global business transformation, process management, or IT/business program leadership. Proven track record of global deployment in large-scale digital or ERP programs. Strong understanding of the core business processes in rOar scope: Agency operations and Finance in the advertising or media industry context. Experience working in matrixed, global organizations with cross-functional teams. Key Competencies: Strategic and analytical thinking Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Results-oriented with a focus on value realization Ability to drive alignment across Business and IT Change leadership and organizational agility Fully fluent in English and French Required experience from a business standpoint: Hand-on Functional experience in project management activities (project scoping, pricing, resourcing, operational delivery, monitoring of actuals vs. plan and forecasts, financial management including margin and burn, and management reporting) in the context of major international companies: Projects with > 100 resources and > 1000 delivery activities. Cross-agency, cross-legal entities, and cross-country projects. Mix of different resource work (creative person, project manager, resource manager) and non-labor deliverables (business service, production assets). Different types of project contract arrangements with clients: fixed price, T&M, T&M capped, etc. Margin and burn control management. Financial controlling functional experience in the media production, advertising industry, or other services or projects-focused industries. Work experience in an international business context, for companies with global international business integration. Team Leadership and Mentorship: The role involves the coordination of 10 to 20 functional resources in charge of Business support activities. The Global rOar Process & Deployment Lead is expected to guide and support all team members concerning the scope, purpose and functioning of the platform, including junior team members. For this he will leverage all knowledge sharing tools available at Publicis (ex: Confluence, Ms. Office suite, Marcel intranet portal, authorized SAAS tools) and rely on his most experienced team members to cascade knowledge across the team. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, interest and experience with wide ranges of software solution and tools, and understanding of integration processes. Expert knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Word and tools to support process documentations such as Visio. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and SAP reporting technologies (BW, GDW) Knowledge of SAP ECC6 and S/4HANA solutions and processes for Financial Controlling and Project management Other expectations: The role involves possible travel abroad, sometimes with short notice. The candidate needs to be able to travel to at least the following countries: USA and India (in addition to the job location being in France). Ideally, the candidate should have already worked directly with people in these countries, with proven and material job experience.
