GovCIO is seeking a versatile Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Platform Project. This position is fully remote.

Problem solver who assesses requests, determines the necessary tasks, then organizes the team to successfully accomplish the workTracks and monitors project financials and level of effort projections and what if analysisSupervises professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplinesEnsures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.Coordinates with government leads and development teams to assess automation requests and assists those development teams through the software lifecycle Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectivesManages initiative level Jira boardFacilitates initiative roadmap planningPrepares initiative metric reporting weekly, monthly, for the data product line quarterly scorecards, and other reports as neededFacilitates initiative level status meetings Ensures proper SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence stakeholder access provisioning QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Operations Research or related fields, AND 8+ years of relevant experience, ORMasters and 1 year of relevant experienceStrong management and project execution experienceExcellent organization and communication skills Ability to identify and mitigate risksExperience managing Agile teamsExperience using Jira or similar tool to organize and manage team’s workStrong analytical and investigative skills with ability to make recommendations, and a relentless resolve to bring new ideas or iterations Flexibility, ingenuity, creativity, diplomacy, and a willingness to learn and adapt Experience working within distributed teams and remote environmentsProficient in use of Microsoft tools – PowerPoint, MS Teams, Word, and Excel

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
