**Job Description:**
This job is responsible for managing cross-functional and/or inter-departmental projects for Line of Business products, processes, functions, and employee readiness. Key responsibilities of the job include partnering with the business to develop a plan to sustain change, evaluating current methods, and developing strategies to implement changes and project improvements. Job expectations include overseeing projects, using appropriate tools to drive project completion, and serving as a secondary point of contact to department managers for critical change initiatives.
**Job ** **Summary:**
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
The qualified applicant will become part of Quartz Core Platform's as a delivery lead helping the management and reporting needs for the senior leaders relevant to Quartz in the bank.
Quartz has for over a decade revolutionized the way Global Markets does business at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Quartz has been the primary platform for pricing trades, managing positions, and computing risk exposure. Thousands of developers are using the highly-agile platform to deliver applications to tens of thousands of end users. As a part of the Quartz team, you will contribute to the technology that will re define the future of our business.
The Quartz Platform team is now starting a core refresh of the platform to modernize with capabilities required to meet our user’s future needs. We are looking to add an experienced delivery leads with a track record on at least one large enterprise project. This person needs to be able to own and independently manage their responsibilities in a large complex project, while collaborating effectively with other parts.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Oversees the execution of defined project tasks through tracking of deliverables and their statuses, developing project plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicators
+ Leads project and/or remediation requirement documentation efforts based on identified gaps and controls needed for sustained performance
+ Plans and organizes projects using appropriate tools and techniques, including Technology platforms used by client facing employees, change management tools, and risk and issue management tools to ensure efficient and effective project completion
+ Navigates across various Lines of Business and partner organizations, including Technology and Risk, leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient and effective resolution
+ Supports the adoption and sustainment of change initiatives and helps assess adoption risks
+ Develops, maintains, and reports on an overall integrated delivery plan, raising any risks, developing a mitigation plan, and escalating issues appropriately to respective stakeholders
+ Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
+ Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
+ Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
+ Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
+ Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
+ Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
+ Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
**Required Skills:**
