We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES** **Key accountabilities:** + Responsible for the design quality and coordination of design between different design streams + Manages compliance with masterplan, vision and engineering integration + Manages Safety in Design + Liaison with delivery teams, integration of designs **Role and responsibilities:** + Assist in developing NEOM architecture design style + Managing the design by creative approach and aesthetic design + Responsible to deliver various architectural design types: residential, commercial, public, healthcare, educational, etc. + Strong ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and presentations + Qualitative architectural design review, comment, and recommendation + Draft comprehensive architectural sets from concept until detailed design documents + Develop and review architectural asset briefs + Prepare SoW, specifications, reports and related data tables. + Take initiative to develop design manuals, standard design documents + Technical detailing and construction administration experience + Research on new technologies and trends + Produce deliverables in accordance with NEOM standards and policies. **BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS** **Knowledge, Skills and Experience** **Knowledge:** + Understanding of scope definition and scope interface and ability to transmit the same to others. + Knowledge of international standards, policies, codes and procedures and ability to transmit the same to others. + Full knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements, + Knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements. + Developed knowledge of Sustainable Design principles. **Skills:** + Outstanding creative, design skills + Out of the box thinking and seeing the big picture + Excellent conceptual and design skills, with emphasis on aesthetics + Creative thinking and visioning and innovation + Fluent in writing and speaking English, spoken and written + Proactive, reliable, accountable, consistent, independent, clever, nice, generous + Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, + Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. + Flexibility and attitude towards company objectives. + Cordial relationships with clients and stakeholders. + Commitment to innovation and design excellence + Outstanding presentation skills. + The ability to convey a clear project narrative and conceptual ideas to both internal and external stakeholders + Excellent ability in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite; Grasshopper, V-Ray, any other illustrative technologies + Effective use of electronic processes and procedures to increase quality and efficiency + Solid knowledge of products, materials, zoning / building codes and construction methods + Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines on budget and on time + A keen eye for attention to detail and accuracy + Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative in response to direction from project managers, directors and partners + A team player, with a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and collaborating **Experience:** + 10+ years post undergraduate of outstanding architectural design and management experience + Design experience in various architectural types: residential, commercial, public, healthcare, educational, etc. + Experience in Middle East is highly appreciated **Qualifications** + B.Arch or B.Sc, in Architecture from a recognized university + Postgraduate In Architecture + International Accreditations (RIBA, AIA, or equivalent) + Sustainability Certification (LEED, PQP, or equivalent) Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
