Summary:
The Project Manager will lead and manage a portfolio of Battery Energy Storage facilities, ensuring successful operation in alignment with contractual obligations and the Owner’s expectations. This role involves overseeing field operations, optimizing site performance and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
+ Manages day to day operation of renewable energy assets, which may include Wind, Solar and Energy Storage.
+ Coordinates with Owners and Vendors to manage and uphold contractual commitments throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Manages and nurtures relationships with Clients and Owners.
+ Assists in diagnosing and analyzing equipment malfunctions and suboptimal performance to identify root causes.
+ Writes facility specific and departmental O&M plans and procedures.
+ Maintains up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and industry standards, including OSHA, NERC, ERCOT, TRE, NFPA, and other relevant governing bodies.
+ Collaborates with the team to manage or generate operational reports for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Serves as a reliable point of contact to support critical operations and resolve issues promptly during regular business hours and after hours periods.
+ Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
+ Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
+ Assists with the automation of site data collection.
+ Provides technical support to the site operations.
+ Uses available tools for reliability and performance analysis.
+ Manages reliability improvement with site and service personnel.
+ Maintains Operations and Management (O&M) cost trackers and budgets future O&M costs.
+ Works with various teams to analyze expected vs. actual production data.
+ Leads or follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action when needed.
+ Reports potentially unsafe conditions while protecting employees and equipment.
+ Ensures proper use and handling of materials and equipment in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.

+ Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.
+ Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
+ Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence.
+ Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.
+ Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.

Qualifications:
+ High school/GED General Educationrequired.
+ Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management preferred.
+ 2+ years Renewable Energy EPC, O&M or equivalentpreferred.
+ 2+ years Supervisory experience within a Renewable Energy environment preferred.
+ Understands basic principles of renewable energy operations
+ Familiar with major system components such as batteries, inverters, trackers, SCADA, HVAC, Substation equipment and so on
+ Experience with Energy Storage a plus
+ Experience with utility scale facility management
+ Strong management background
+ Field Electrical experience in utility grade facilities a plus
+ Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
+ Detail-oriented
+ Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
+ Self-motivated and the ability to interface in a team environment
+ Strong technical problem-solving skills
+ Basic electrical (low voltage) and switching (high voltage) knowledge and skills helpful but not required
+ Capable of providing dependable operational support, with flexibility for occasional 24/7 support as needed
+ Eligible for corporate vehicle insurance coverage
+ Functional competencies include teamwork, customer focus, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail
+ Domestic and International travel 16-30% required.
+ Valid Driver’s License required.
Anticipated base salary range: $89,000 - $105,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is Bonus eligible.
