Danfoss Climate Solutions is seeking a passionate Project Manager (m/f/d) Procurement in Frickenhausen, Germany. In our plant in Frickenhausen near Stuttgart, we manufacture industrial compressors. Bock is one of the world's technology and innovation leaders in the development of environmentally friendly, economical solutions in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning technology, including heat pumps and heat recovery – with one of the world's largest portfolios of compressors for natural refrigerants. In this pivotal role, you will be focusing primarily on project work and cost reduction activities for existing products made from a wide range of materials at BOCK. Your analytical approach will help to make purchasing more cost-efficient.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in driving our success by:
Identifying potential savings from purchasing, design-to-cost and cost-down measures Collaborating in the core cost-down team and moderating workshops for brainstorming, identifying savings potential, benchmarking, and implementing cross-functional projects. Developing and establishing new manufacturing technologies with existing and new suppliers Leading supplier selection, benchmarking, and negotiations within the scope of projects to secure the best partnerships and value. Managing procurement projects focused on cost reduction, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, cross-functional work and delivering measurable results. Ensuring transparent presentation of costs, implementation status, and schedule progress for all cost down activities you’re responsible for Integrating ESG criteria into all project decisions, championing sustainability and contributing to our commitment to environmental and social responsibility. What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone with:
