Project Manager - Labor

The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 97-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter. **Summary** The Project Manager – Labor is responsible for tracking the planning, reporting, and management of the labor costs saving projects. This role ensures labor resources are properly budgeted, planned, invoiced, and managed to meet company margin goals. This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week based out of Dallas, TX. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Develop, maintain, and own the cost saving project initiative. + Identify previous and future target events to enroll in the cost saving project. + Establish and oversee a comprehensive national event calendar. + Create and manage the labor cost savings and labor cost recovery plans for targeted events. + Host internal team meetings (e.g., delivery, logistics, production, account management) to align labor needs with event timelines and deliverables. + Serve as the primary liaison for cost planning and cost tracking of union employees and third-party labor vendors. + Oversee education on labor rules, minimums, wage terms, and Freeman pricing standards. + Ensure alignment with project labor budgets, plans, and post-event reporting and analysis. + Maintain strong relationships with Growth and Delivery to ensure all parties adhere to labor rules and procedures. + Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance labor efficiency, reduce costs, and improve client outcomes. + Lasso, Equifax & Harvest data management. + Coupa data management and processing. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Education & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required. + 3–5 years of experience in project management or event production in the live events industry. + Proven experience managing labor projections and associated cost drivers. + Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with labor management or event production software (e.g., Workfront, Lasso, and Salesforce) is a plus. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients. + Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules. **Travel Requirements** Travel up to 25% **What We Offer** Freeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
