The Value-Based Project Management department in Finance supports population health management for insurance companies. The team manages projects focused on specific patient populations, developing care modules and strategies to improve outcomes and advance value-based care initiatives. As a Project Manager, you will manage various phases of assigned projects, coordinate team activities and accomplish objectives by planning and evaluating strategies. This role will help share value-based operations and payment innovation at Cleveland Clinic.

This is a remote position with caregivers working days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and are required to reside in the Northeast Ohio area and work one day a week on-site at CCAC. Caregivers are required to attend weekly on-site sessions at CCAC on Mondays and may need to attend additional in-person meetings as needed.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Manage all aspects of small projects or phases of larger projects. 

Coordinate the activities of a project team under the direction of Project Manager III or IV. 

Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. 

Prepare and complete action plans.  

Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. 

Resolve problems. 

Assist in coaching the team, create timelines, etc.

Completes audits and identify trends. 

Determine system improvements and implement changes. 

Meet financial objectives by participating in developing forecasting requirements. 

Participate in preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures. 

Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions. 

Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field and three years of experience coordinating or managing various projects OR High School Diploma/GED and seven years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and five years of experience OR Master’s Degree and two years of experience 

Effective relationship building skills 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Project Management Certification (PMP) 

Project management or equivalent experience

Previous experience as an ombudsman, administrative program coordinator, PAC member, or in any coordinator or work leader role

Experience with projects, working across levels and providing executive presence

Physical Requirements:

Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.

May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.

Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.

Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites.
