Project Manager II

Project Manager IIHow will you make an impact?

As a Project Manager II, you will lead and support medium to high complexity projects, programs, and initiatives that align with Jabil’s strategic goals. You’ll manage projects through the full lifecycle—from concept to implementation—developing SOWs, business proposals, functional requirements, project plans, financials, and execution strategies. This role requires strong collaboration across multi-functional teams, with a particular emphasis on working closely with Supply Chain Management both internally and externally to ensure successful project outcomes.

What will you do?Define clear project goals and objectives.Gather, understand, and translate project requirements for execution.Identify and manage project KPIs within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.Conduct risk reviews and implement mitigation strategies.Facilitate stakeholder communication and escalate issues as needed.Forecast project budgets and staffing needs.Manage overall project success including cost, schedule, quality, and scope.Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.Lead cross-functional teams to achieve company and customer objectives.Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to align design engineering with Supply Chain Management .Implement cost-effective corrective actions and track cost impacts.Develop 3rd Party relationships and contracts to complement our engineering capabilities. Drive continuous improvement in operational metrics and project goals.Develop and maintain detailed project plans with milestones and deliverables.Provide regular updates to teams, stakeholders, and leadership.Define project roadmaps and success criteria.Ensure proper handling of sensitive and confidential information.Manage cross-divisional, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams.Understand and support development of tools to track 3rd Party engagements.Mentor and coach project team members.Prepare proposals to close gaps and mitigate risks.Adhere to safety, health, and security policies.Perform other duties as assigned.How will you get here?

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.

Experience:

3–5+ years of project management experience in a relevant discipline.Experience in Supply Chain Management.Understanding of product design, engineering, and technology.Experience in electronic manufacturing services is a plus.PMP Certification preferred.Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong leadership and team-building skills.Clear and professional verbal and written communication.Effective presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.Strategic thinking and implementation capabilities.High performance orientation and sound judgment.Ability to build partnerships and manage change.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email.Advanced PC skills and familiarity with integrated systems like SAP.Experience working with Supply Chain teams and understanding logistics workflows.
