Project Manager II

Support strategy development (10%)

-      Provides support to supply chain and project risk assessment via project management best practices and milestone identification,

-      Works alongside quality to ensure FAI process matches project plans,

Project management (70%)

-      Is fully responsible for the planning and execution of projects,

-      Utilizes scope, schedule, and budget tools for effective project control,

-      Collaborates globally with team members in USA, France, and Belgium,

-      Ensures effective reporting and integration of projects with Supply Chain leadership and other project managers,

-      Identifies required resources (people and equipment) and ensures their availability,

-      Defines, crafts, and executes project plans, revises them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements,

-      Foster a positive team dynamic, resolve conflicts, and promote open communication.

-      Enforces project standards and applies internal controls,

-      Minimizes company exposure to risk on project,

-      Organizes and reviews deliverables prior to submission for project closure,

Project closing and review (20%)

-      Performs project cost analysis and hold stakeholder close out meeting,

-      Ensures concerns are raised into the quality system and followed through.

Relationships with others & Communication

-      Reports to the Manager, Procurement with direct oversight by the DRIVE Lead.

-      Coordinates efforts with the project team members, liaises with all departments involved in the projects, and develops  coordination with other workstreams as necessary,

Develops good relationships with the suppliers.

-      Finds the best solution to meet supplier’s needs while maintaining TDW’s interests,

-      Demonstrates appropriate project management and technical creativity to meet expectations of the market.

Knowledge, skills & abilities required

-      Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or additionally master in Business Administration or master in Project Management

-      Prior experience in Oil & Gas or Manufacturing environment preferred,

-      Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Software

-      Fluent in English,

-      Good commercial and interpersonal skills,

-      Strong organization skills and rigor, capability to work in a team on fast moving projects,

Occasional travel (about 20% of the working time) is required for this position.
