Project Manager I
_Are you ready to join a growing team?_ **CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager I opening for our client in Amherst, NY.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 12 months **Overview:** Under the direction of a more senior Project Manager, the Project Manager I will be responsible for managing multiple small-sized projects from initiation through closure. This role requires independently driving project outcomes, working with internal stakeholders and offshore vendors, and ensuring project objectives are delivered on time and within scope and budget. **Primary Responsibilities:** • Manage multiple small projects under the direction of a senior Project Manager • Develop project plans, schedules, forecasts, and budgets • Capture detailed project requirements, constraints, and assumptions in collaboration with stakeholders • Communicate project plans to ensure alignment with team members and stakeholders • Execute and monitor tasks as defined in the project plan • Manage change control and maintain project documentation • Measure project performance and apply corrective actions as needed • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues • Build and maintain effective project teams, mentor junior team members, and encourage team collaboration • Support larger project initiatives as assigned • Adhere to internal control standards and ensure compliance with regulatory policies • Promote diversity and reflect the client’s brand in daily work **Scope of Responsibilities:** • Full responsibility for smaller project initiatives from initiation to close • Coordinate internal and external team efforts, including offshore engagements • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and timelines **Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:** • Allocate work as a team leader • May review team output for quality and completion **Education and Experience Required:** • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of general management, project analysis, or project management experience, including at least 1 year of project management experience • OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years higher education and/or relevant work experience, with at least 1 year of project management experience • Demonstrated ability to independently run calls and projects • Experience managing offshore vendor relationships • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and offshore engagement managers • Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software tools **Education and Experience Preferred:** • Previous experience in a financial or technology-driven organization • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $85,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
