As a Gensler Project Manager with our Healthcare team in Florida, you’ll be joining a dynamic team designing innovative projects for leading healthcare clients. What You Will Do
Lead collaborative design teams, working closely with Practice Leader, Design Director, and PIC, to establish effective project workplans with attainable project objectivesCollaborate with Healthcare Market Leader on client development opportunitiesManage all phases of healthcare architecture and interior design projects, from project set-up through design and construction administrationUnderstand all phases of design, effectively lead the team through the development of design documentsHelp prepare project proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, coordinate bidding processManage scheduling, budgets, staffing, project set-up with clients, sub-consultants, vendors and contractorsActively support firmwide sustainability and resilience goals, guiding clients and project teams toward multi-benefit sustainable and resilient design solutionsProvide leadership and mentorship to junior team membersSupport diversity, equity and inclusion goals on projects and within the officeTrack financial performance of projectsDevelop and maintain client relationships, for both single projects and multi-project global accountsYour Qualifications
Experience leading architectural and planning projects for healthcare clients (medical centers, medical office buildings, hospitals, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, community health centers, etc.)Experience leading large scale and complex projects and mentoring architects and designers10+ years of experience in a Project Manager roleIntegrated into the local Florida Healthcare community with positive healthcare client references is preferredExperience developing high performance sustainable building projectsLEED accreditation is preferredStrong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal management skillsCommitment to collaborative design processExperience negotiating project scope and feesKnowledge of local building codes and standardsProficiency with PM software: MS project a plusWorking knowledge of Revit preferredProfessional degree (Master or Bachelor) in Architecture from an accredited programLicensed architect and LEED AP requiredDemonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; Portfolios will ideally include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interviewLife at Gensler
