THE JOB:

At MGM Resorts Event Productions (MREP), we create world-class experiences for iconic brands and unforgettable moments for our guests. From high-impact corporate events to distinctive in-house productions, our work reflects the innovation, excellence, and legendary service that define the MGM name. As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of event operations, working collaboratively with Account Managers and clients to bring concepts to life with precision and impact. This role is responsible for translating vision into execution—managing timelines, budgets, logistics, and onsite coordination to ensure seamless delivery and elevated guest experiences.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Manage all logistics and execution phases for events, ensuring operational excellence from pre-planning through event completion

Partner with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to align on event goals, budgets, and timelines

Lead planning meetings and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders

Monitor budgets, approve purchases, and track expenses for assigned programs

Oversee onsite execution including installations, client walk-throughs, and strike, addressing challenges with creative, timely solutions

Support client-facing meetings and final approvals to maintain alignment and satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle

Represent MREP at industry events and trainings to stay current with production trends and reinforce MGM’s presence in the field

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

2+ years of relevant experience in special events, sales, production, entertainment, catering or hospitality industry.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Strong background in event execution, design, sales, or technical production

Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Delphi, Meeting Matrix, or Social Tables preferred

Ability to thrive in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment

Industry certifications (CMP, CSEP, DMCP, OSHA 30, etc.) and supervisory experience are a plus
