Project Manager - Embedded

We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Project Manager to join our Embedded Software Systems Product Development team in Marshalltown, Iowa!   

This role combines Project Manager and Product Owner responsibilities to give you the autonomy to drive innovative solutions to customer problems from the idea stage all the way into production.  This role is responsible for leading the planning and execution all key activities for new product development as well as identifying and prioritizing product needs to support customer goals.  They will also be the focal point of contact for any project related issues, addressing them or advancing them across reporting lines as necessary.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will: 

Undertake Project Management leadership in specific projects, setting direction, defining priorities and delegating responsibilities in order to ensure success of the project.  Take the helm as Product Owner, spearheading innovative solutions to customer challenges through dynamic collaboration with our Marketing Product Manager and Engineering teams.  Ensure effective communication across functional areas to ensure team members are well informed about project goals, activities, and priorities.  Plan, supervise and control project scope, cost, time, and resources by establishing and maintaining project timeline, budget and resource plans, hosting steering meetings and provide updates to senior leadership.  Bring new approaches to continuously improve and optimize work practices aligned with your peers.

For This Role, You Will Need: 

Higher education (Bachelor / Master) in project management, marketing, engineering or equivalent experience.  5+ years development, management and/or project management experience in software development  Solid track record in leading technical innovation.   Experience in managing a team.  Ability to work with different technical and functional fields, and willingness to learn subjects outside your area of direct expertise.  Ability to resolve issues, make decisions and provide advice and guidance to project team members and managerial staff.  Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this position

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
