We are looking for a Project Manager Deputy to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location!
Your Responsibilities:
Responsible for the performance of relatively small to mid-sized projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Your Challenge:
Defines, launches, and drives mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core projects. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
Creates a method of change management including ownership of a documentation library, communication plans, process training, etc.
May be responsible for project management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting.
Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned programs and for supporting new business development by leading proposals.
Manage, coordinate and control Project Work Plan execution to achieve project technical, cost and schedule objectives
Efficiently and effectively work towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple constraints
Lead the project team and regular project meetings to monitor and drive progress toward project objectives
Maintain effective customer communications, ensuring that all customer requirements and expectations are addressed effectively
Address and resolve project issues pertaining to project work scope, technical requirements, quality, schedule, resource assignments, cost customer interface and other project related activities
Communicate project progress, issues, and/or resolution options to project team members’ customers and EMD management
Review and control project cost, including the coordination and certification of Estimate at Complete dates
Develop and monitor the Project Risk Management Plan as part of project planning and execution
Interact with Sourcing and suppliers to plan for and secure the materials needed for the project and future production
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent with appropriate course complete to support a project management team.
3+ years' experience
Project management or project leadership experience
Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and procedures
Project Management Professional Certification Preferred
Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens
Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
