Duration: 2-Year Fixed Term

CGI is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Project Manager / Business Development Lead to lead the Australian rollout of our Cyber Escape Project – an engaging, mobile escape room experience designed to raise cyber security awareness across the Commonwealth.
Over the next two years, the project will tour major cities and regional areas, working with industry partners and government stakeholders to educate and inspire a wide range of audiences on the realities of cyber threats.

This role is a unique blend of project leadership, business development, stakeholder engagement and marketing. It is perfect for someone who thrives in a mobile, fast-paced environment, is comfortable with autonomy, and passionate about technology and creative outreach.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Project Management:
o Lead day-to-day operations of the CGI Cyber Escape project across Australia
o Coordinate national tour logistics, timelines, and team schedules
o Manage budgets, risks, and reporting to the CGI Australia senior leadership
o Ensure the escape room is operational, maintained, and aligned to cyber messaging goals
• Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement:
o Act as the primary liaison with industry and government clients
o Promote participation through direct outreach, networking, and events
o Build relationships with key stakeholders to secure future bookings and partnerships
• Team Leadership:
o Manage a small mobile team responsible for delivery and logistics
o Provide clear direction, motivation, and performance oversight
• Communications & Marketing:
o Collaborate on media and marketing efforts to maximise public exposure
o Represent CGI at promotional events, panels, and media opportunities
o Contribute to social media campaigns and public-facing messaging

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

5+ years in project management, business development, or outreach roles
o Experience leading small teams in fast-moving environments
o Previous exposure to government or industry sectors highly desirable
• Skills & Attributes:
o Strong organisational and time management skills
o Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
o Comfortable working remotely and independently
o A creative, fun-loving mindset and a passion for engaging audiences
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Desirable Knowledge:
o Basic understanding of cyber security threats and best practices
o Awareness of or interest in escape rooms or interactive learning tools
