ROLE PURPOSE

To project manage small, medium and large projects of Logicalis customers, as well as provide support and guidance to the project coordinators in the Logicalis PMO where and when necessary.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support and provide guidance to the project coordinators in the teamContinual improvement in the project management space – thinking outside of the boxCo-ordinate and manage all project activities end-to-endDevelop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needsDevelop all required project artifacts per the process/methodology expectationsTrack delivery timescales and expected benefitsManage budgets – costs vs incomeBooking, and managing the exact resources to be used to deliver the stage, whilst conforming to the overall project plan - Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timelinessMonitoring, and regular reporting on the overall progress against defined project scopeManagement and clear communication of risks, issues, assumptions, dependenciesProvide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team membersAttend and run project meetings, achieving common understanding and accurate outcomesCo-ordinate tasks in teamsAccurate progress reporting into the bigger programs where applicable

PERSON REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE:

5+ years proven track record experience in project management of ICT projectsExperienced at coordinating and managing all aspects of a portfolio of small, medium, and large (complex) projects simultaneouslyGood interpersonal skills and ability to build sound business relationshipsGood written and spoken communications at all levels of businessAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesOrganised approach to work, managing own and others workloadExperienced at setting up meetings and keeping minutesExperience of Microsoft applications:Using Microsoft ProjectUse of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Producing project progress reportsAbility to follow defined guidelines and processesIT Service Management experience would be beneficial

QUALIFICATIONS:

Grade 12Project Management qualification or certificationICT-related qualification or certification (or equivalent work experience)

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:

PRINCE2 or PMBOK (Practitioner Level)ITIL exposure and understandingICT Technical background is essential
