Job Description
Join a growing team as a Project Manager Assistant where you will play a key role in coordinating in-house bids for hotels and car washes. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a strong background in commercial project management, looking to grow into a Project Manager role.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all activities with the Superintendent and project team.Manage all project finances and maintain up-to-date contract documents.Prepare the project construction schedule with input from the Superintendent and subcontractors.Coordinate the final project budget and issue all subcontracts.Plan and schedule projects, and prepare a master submittal schedule and submittal log.Conduct regular owner and subcontractor coordination and preconstruction meetings.Administer the resolution of all project-specific issues and process all subcontractor Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal forms.Prepare, distribute, and acquire approval of all Owner Change Order Requests.Distribute all subcontractor Change Orders and associated budget revisions.Prepare and distribute monthly Owner Applications for payment.Oversee all project administrative logs and close-out activities.Essential Skills5+ years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing commercial projects.Experience with a diverse portfolio including fire houses, medical facilities, retail, hotels, apartments, pharmacies, and mixed-use projects valued at $10M+.Ability to work independently and manage project finances.Strong skills in project coordination, communication, and organization.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in commercial contracts administration or as a Project Manager Assistant.Ground up experience on projects $3M+ is preferred.Experience with processing submittals and bid packages.Construction degree is a plus but not required.Experience from a general contractor is a plus.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/hr.
