In this position... 

High Performance Computing (HPC) is part of Ford's Enterprise Technology skill team, focused on using large clusters of cutting-edge computing technologies to tackle challenges in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Machine Learning (ML) and AI, and scalable computer simulations. HPC acquires, deploys, enhances and supports our on-premises compute clusters of CPUs and GPUs, along with their storage and networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project management, vendor collaboration, attention to detail, and delivering results. We're looking for someone to serve as a catalyst for our Agile practices, enabling us to manage our planned work, set priorities for tasks, and ensure that we deliver on our commitments.

 

What you'll do...

Primary Role: Agile Coach / Project Manager

Lead/Guide service offerings to manage their workloads using Agile practices Lead/Conduct Backlog Grooming and PI Planning Consult with team managers on adopting best practices Provide reports on backlog, metrics to teams and managers

Additional Role: Service Business Office Lead

Prepare and submit purchase requests for server leases and software procurements Track and manage infrastructure leases to ensure hardware is returned on time or extended Collaborate with IT Business Office team for monthly budget tracking

You'll have... 

Bachelor's Degree 2 years' experience using Agile practices (5 or more preferred)  Experience coaching new team members in Agile adoption  Basic, high-level understanding of IT hardware components Ability to work independently, act as a self-starter

Even better, you may have...

Experience using Jira for managing backlogs Experience using Excel for budget tracking Experience using purchasing or procurement systems to obtain hardware and software

This position is a range of salary grades SG7 - SG8
