The Project Manager is a key position responsible for managing specific strategic operational transformation projects within our organisation. The role entails managing the identification, planning and delivery of projects and programs that align with long-term business operational strategies. Additionally, this role collaborates with other departments to ensure that initiatives are in line with overall business objectives and direction.

This role is based at our Artarmon site, with flexible working options available. To be successful in this role, you will have experience with civil and structural engineering projects, be highly collaborative by nature, eager to positively influence key stakeholders across the business, and technically strong across a range of methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver multiple projects and programs concurrently.

Scope, plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of project and program lifecycle, from design to delivery.

Strategic thinking and understanding organizational goals and how to deliver within the project.

Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business.

Align project deliverables to ensure they realise the business strategy.

Manage project budgets, reviewing regularly for alignment or opportunities for cost reduction.

Define and implement quality requirements to ensure project success.

Support the delivery of successful transformation by integrating change management into the project and governance framework.

Lead allocated team members including performance management, TDSP and recruitment.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

At least ten (10) years’ experience in a project management role in heavy equipment manufacturing, supply chain operations or similar.

Formal qualification in project management (PMP preferred).

Demonstrable project management, transformation and change management skills and experience.

Demonstrable experience in undertaking engineering projects with strong preference to civil and structural.

Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across a business.
