Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking Project Manager Consultant for our client in Minneapolis, MN.

Our client, a leading financial services organization based in Minneapolis, is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead and deliver key initiatives within Wealth Management (WM) and Capital Markets (CM). The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a track record of successful project execution—particularly within IT Risk-related environments. This role requires a proactive, accountable individual who excels at stakeholder management and can thrive in a dynamic, regulated setting. Must be able to work onsite 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery across WM/CM initiatives.Drive successful execution of IT Risk-related projects ensuring timelines, budgets, and scope are met.Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.Own accountability for project outcomes, managing risks and resolving issues proactively.Develop and maintain project plans using tools such as Planview, MS Project, and other MIS tools.Provide regular project status updates and executive reporting.Oversee project financials including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.Manage third-party software vendors to ensure deliverables align with expectations and contractual terms.Ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

3–5 years of experience in Project Management.Proven experience delivering projects within Wealth Management (WM) and/or Capital Markets (CM).Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex projects.Strong experience with IT Risk projects.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.Accountability and ownership of project deliverables.Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.Nice to Have:Previous project delivery experience in Financial Institutions.Experience with project tools: Planview, MS Project, MIS.Background in project financial management.Experience managing software vendors and related contracts. The base hourly range for this contract position is $50 to $80 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
