(Worley Group) is a diversified technology company that provides design and engineering solutions to the chloralkaline, sodium chlorate, chlorine dioxide, and sulphuric acid industries worldwide. It is a Company with a 60-year history in Vancouver with diverse cultures, talents, and highly skilled professionals. Chemetics operates a specialized alloy fabrication shop in Pickering, ON.
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based at our fabrication facility in Pickering, ON.
The success of Chemetics in winning and executing projects worldwide has created an opportunity to add a Project Manager to our team of professionals. Our Project Manager’s connect various disciplines to successfully deliver projects to our customers globally. As a member of our planning division, this person will facilitate the manufacture of a diverse range of equipment. Prospective candidates should have a broad range of skills including leadership, negotiation, relationship building and project execution.
Responsibilities\:
Main client point of contact through project execution.Establish clear agreement on client objectives. Ensure these objectives are met / exceeded.Expediting project tasks to support the delivery schedule.Identifying and managing project and contractual risks and opportunities.Proactive resolution of scope, financial and schedule concerns.Controlling and reporting of cost, schedule, progress and performance to management.Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, vendors and subcontractors.Championing continuous improvement, sustainability, and change management processes.Approach every interaction as an opportunity to facilitate success.*What you will bring\:
