Project Manager
Job Title: Project Manager Job Description The Special Projects Program Manager plans and executes complex medical device sustaining development programs through expert management of scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can synchronize diverse workstreams, collaborating with an array of internal and external stakeholders, while supporting the strategic vision established by technical leadership. Responsibilities + Plan and orchestrate strategic, complex medical device product development initiatives, ensuring performance to schedule, scope, budget, and quality metrics. + Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that capture dependencies, milestones, and resource needs across functional areas. + Facilitate effective governance structures, including team meetings, stage gate reviews, and executive updates that enable timely decision-making. + Anticipate and address execution risks, developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with technical and engineering leadership. + Implement and track meaningful execution metrics that drive accountability and enable data-driven decisions throughout the development lifecycle. + Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across functions. + Provide project and program management expertise and guidance to both technical teams and project contributors. Essential Skills + Project management experience in medical device development. + Expertise in new product development (NPD). + Strong design and engineering skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 4-7 years of project management experience in medical device industry, ideally within NPD. Work Environment The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, involving coordination with various stakeholders and teams. The role requires effective communication and strategic planning to ensure successful project execution. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lakewood, Colorado. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
