We are hiring a Project Manager for the an International Organisation in Warsaw and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities Manages effectively and efficiently the project within its complete lifecycle and scopeEstablishes and manages project controls in order to ensure that the milestones are met and project products delivered on time and within scope and the business goals are enabledAssures and controls quality of the project deliverables Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the projectLiaise with Project Board and other key stakeholdersAssigns and controls the tasks, authorizes work packages, balance priorities and workload in the team, motivates project team members Plans and controls project products delivery processesManages effective communication within the project and with external environment of the projectProduces project management products (like plans, logs, schedules). Defines the responsibilities of parties involved in the projectPrepares and presents oral and written technical reports and project presentationsOrganizes and conducts project meetings Successful CandidateLEVEL OF EDUCATION
Master's Degree in a relevant ICT Degree is mandatory
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES
At least 1 certification among:
PRINCE2 Practitioner or Project Management Professional (PMP) PM2 Agile Or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Experience in leading at least 1 medium-large ICT project as a project managerKnowledge and experience in applying of project management methodologies and methodsKnowledge and experience in applying Agile methodologiesPossesses a thorough understanding of IT and its application to business needsIs conversant with current technologies and trends relevant to the project and the relevant Specific ContractsPresents excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality written material and presentations for a variety of audiencesAligns his work easily to the changing environment, is able to work effectively in a variety of situations, seeks improvements and proactively looks to further improvementsPresents strong problem-solving skillsDisplays strong leadershipPossesses the ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers and suppliersSPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Has knowledge and experience in organizing and providing support for portfolios or programmes Has knowledge/experience in the area of Data Privacy, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Business Continuity, and Information Security Risk Assessment in the environment of EU Institutions, understands its challenges and methods for conducting effective analysis/assessment in those areas Has excellent conflict management and resolution skillsHas experience working for/at the public sector, preferably in International organisations or EU Institutions About the CompanySerco is a leading provider of public services.
