We are currently recruiting for a skilled Project Manager to join a forward-thinking team within the renewable energy sector. This role requires a solid understanding of power generation processes and project management principles and will play a key role in supporting the Engineering Manager to ensure the successful delivery of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure all assigned projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget. Oversee aspects of projects from the concept study phase, through feasibility studies, detail design, execution, commissioning, and project close-out phase. Ensure all technical resources (spares/devices etc.) used are always in their top shape. Manage relationships between clients and all stakeholders. Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools. Timeous reporting to management and all stakeholders. The following is a non-exhaustive list of some of the projects that will fall under his/her responsibility: High level Outage preparation. Grid Code Requirements for both plants. Annual Performance test. Plant improvement projects. Prepare proposals and interact with clients and client requirements.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements: BTech /BSc in Engineering preferably Mechanical or Electrical. Project management qualification is essential in this role. 10 years’ experience in power generation with minimum 2 years in a project management role. Experience with all Machinery in a manufacturing plant would be advantageous. Thorough knowledge of OHS Act. must have a high degree of skill in Business Computing Applications such as MS Projects or similar, MS Word Processors, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint and Enterprise Resource Planning applications (Maximo/ SAP or equivalent).
