Project Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and key departments, ensuring effective coordination and task management. The ideal candidate will excel in organizing, tracking, and documenting project tasks to support organizational goals. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain project plans and schedules to ensure timely progress and completion. • Monitor ongoing projects by tracking critical milestones and evaluating key performance indicators. • Prepare project updates and summaries in formats suitable for executive-level review and decision-making. • Oversee task assignments to and from the Executive Director, ensuring accountability and clear communication. • Manage and organize project documentation for easy access and compliance. • Collaborate with the Chief of Collaboration, Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, and Administrative Assistant to streamline workflows. • Ensure effective coordination across departments to support organizational initiatives. • Provide regular status reports and recommendations to executive leadership. • Identify potential risks and propose solutions to maintain project timelines and deliverables. Requirements • Proven experience in project management within cross-functional environments. • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills for engaging with executive leadership and teams. • Proficiency in creating structured project updates and documentation. • Demonstrated ability to track and monitor project milestones effectively. • Familiarity with tools and software for project planning and management. • Experience coordinating with diverse stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
